SILVER SPRING, Md.– Detectives from the Major Crimes Department of Montgomery County Police and agents of the FBI continue to investigate the case of missing person Ronal Giovani Vasquez-Flores of Gaithersburg, who was 23 at the time of his disappearance in July 2016.
Based on evidence obtained so far, investigators suspect Vasquez-Flores was a victim of foul play and that his disappearance may have been gang related.
Vasquez-Flores, who lived in the 100 block of Coral Reef Terrace in Gaithersburg, was reported missing by a friend.
Vasquez-Flores is described as a Hispanic Male, 5’6”, with brown eyes and brown hair, weighing roughly 130 pounds.
Police say Vasquez-Flores was a victim of physical assault three days prior to his disappearance. His last known whereabouts were in Virginia.
The Baltimore Division of the FBI (410-265-8080) and the Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division (240-773-5070) are urging anyone who has information regarding the disappearance to contact them.
The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information on the whereabouts of Vasquez-Flores or any information about his disappearance.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of his family or relatives is also asked to make contact.
